PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Nationwide PAVER SEALER Water-Based Acrylic Natural Paver Sealer is a high-performance semi-gloss clear sealer that penetrates and protects all types of porous decorative pavers. This water-based penetrating sealer will enhance the appearance of pavers while providing excellent weather and water resistance. This is a low V.O.C. waterborne formulation of acrylic resins. Will bond joint sand preventing erosion and weed growth. New technology gives the convenience of water clean up while surpassing the durability of solvent-based products. Provides long lasting protection from weathering and water damage. It has excellent penetration on porous surfaces and superior adhesion on non-porous or compatible previously coated surfaces. Nationwide PAVER SEALER possesses excellent durability and provides for increased water and chemical resistance plus superior resistance to ultraviolet degradation. Film hardness provides excellent mar, scratch and abrasion resistance, and excellent protection against hot tire pick up. NATIONWIDE PAVER SEALER USES: Nationwide PAVER SEALER can be used as a clear sealer on interior or exterior bare exterior concrete, masonry, brick including driveways, patios, courts, floors, walkways, pool decks and much more. It can be used on either uncoated or previously painted or stained surfaces. Fresh concrete must cure at least 28 days before being sealed. Nationwide PAVER SEALER may not be compatible over some surfaces, especially surfaces or products with silicone. Due to the variety of substrates and to insure compatibility, it is important to test a small area and check it after 48 hours. UNCOATED CONCRETE: • BROOM FINISH: Pressure wash only. • SMOOTH TROWELED CONCRETE SURFACES: (Garage Floors, Interior Warehouse Floors, Etc.) Smooth surfaces must be acid etched to insure proper penetration. Visible pores in uncoated concrete must appear before applying the product. Repeat acid etching until visible pores appear in surface. (Surface should feel like 80 grit sandpaper). Rinse the surface well with water and allow it to dry completely for at least 12 hours. The surface must be completely dry & free from any wax, grease, oil, dirt, loose or flaking material, acid substance and soap deposits before applying Nationwide PAVER SEALER.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Stir well before using. Do not apply when temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or when humidity is very high. Do not apply when coating will be subjected to rain or heavy dew before it has had enough time to dry (approx. 1 to 2 hours). Do not apply the product to hot surfaces directly in sunlight, this may cause the coating to dry too quickly and reduce or prevent proper penetration and adhesion. Drying time will vary depending on temperature, humidity and location. Apply using brush, roller, low pressure spray (20 psi max.) or pump-up sprayer. Apply uniformly and do not leave puddles or build ups. Spread Rate will vary depending on surface. Uncoated Concrete: Thin the first coat with 2 quarts of water per 5 gallons. Apply second coat as is from the container without thinning. Wait at least 1 to 2 hours between coats, but application of second coat recommended within 48 hours to insure proper bonding between coats. Let the final application dry at least 24 hours before allowing light traffic (foot traffic) and at least 2 to 3 days before heavy traffic (vehicle traffic). High humidity will increase the cure time of Nationwide PAVER SEALER.

However, because existing coatings can vary, Nationwide Coatings recommends testing a small inconspicuous area and evaluating adhesion after 48 hours before sealing the entire project. Fresh concrete should cure for at least 28 days prior to application or consider CHALK FORCE™ as a pH primer for new concrete.
