ULTRATHANE™ is a clear gloss, 100% Polyurethane with 40% active solids, protective Gloss Urethane Coating and Sealer. It is a high-performance waterborne emulsion urethane formulated to comply with V.O.C. regulations. It contains a remarkable combination of high-performance properties that produce protective films which are hard and very impact resistant. ULTRATHANE™ is excellent for interior or exterior applications including most sealed and previously coated concrete, metal and hard wood surfaces. It can also be used on most bare hard wood and hard wood decks and floors. ULTRATHANE™ features high abrasion, scratch and auto tire mark resistance with superior durability and soil/dirt release. It is easy to use, odorless and environmentally friendly while providing a beautiful and highly protective gloss finish with excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals.
ULTRATHANE™ can be used as a Fuel and Chemical Containment Coating following strict preparation and application procedures (Request a Detailed Fuel and Chemical Containment Application Procedure Specification Sheet). Applicator and or Contractor will be responsible for approval of the system where required.

ULTRATHANE™ Water Based Polyurethane dries to a Hard Clear Gloss Urethane Finish. ULTRATHANE™ is excellent for interior or exterior applications including most sealed and previously coated concrete, metal and hard wood surfaces. It can also be used on most bare hard wood and hard wood decks and floors. ULTRATHANE™ will not perform on any Soft Wood.
Designed for use as a urethane clear gloss topcoat that provides maximum cleanability and superior stain resistance when used as a finish coat on painted surface floorings; this coating is ideally suited for clean room floors, automotive repair facilities, sport courts and other high wear areas requiring resistance to fuels and chemicals. It has excellent auto tire mark resistance on driveways. It is excellent for use on fuel containment walls and floors. It can be used on residential, commercial and industrial applications.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
For proper adhesion and full durability, it is essential that the surface be prepared properly. The surface must be absolutely clean, dry and free from all dirt, wax, oil, chalk, incompatible paint or detergent film. Apply directly over concrete that has been sealed with either a clear or colored coat of CRETE-GUARD™, CRETE-CLEAR™, ACRATHANE™ Concrete Sealer, ACRACLEAR™, AQUAKOTE™, AQUACLEAR™ or other compatible Acrylic Concrete Stain, Sealer or Paint. Fully cured or previously coated surfaces and Hard Wood Surfaces must be cleaned and lightly sanded with 100 grit sandpaper or otherwise mechanically abraded.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Stir contents thoroughly. Apply with short nap roller, brush or spray. Apply at temperatures above 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply uniformly and do not leave any puddles or build ups. Two coats are required. Multiple Coats are recommended for areas of heavy traffic or high amounts of chemical exposure. Also, multiple coats may be necessary to achieve the desired thickness and desired finish. Let each coat dry at least 2 hours before recoating.
Higher temperatures will accelerate dry time and lower temperatures and high humidity will lengthen dry and cure time.
DO NOT THIN ULTRATHANE™, Use Product As Is.
CLEAN UP:
Clean up all spills, tools and overspray immediately while the coating is still wet with warm soapy water.
