PERMAUREA™

PERMAUREA™ is a Revolutionary New, Single Component, Waterbased, 43% Solids Polyurea, High Performance, Clear, High Gloss Coating and Latex Paint or Coating Performance Additive. It is an aliphatic polyurea developed to exhibit a combination of film hardness but also flexibility not found in most any other waterbased product.
PERMAUREA™ dries rapidly to produce an impervious highly abrasion resistant surface and can be applied to a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates such as wood, metal, vinyl, concrete and most plastics.
Excellent protection from staining, scratches, scuff marks and chipping. It forms a clear high gloss finish of strong flexible protection that is tack free in 2 hours and dries to a tough high abrasion resistant finish in 24 hours. It exhibits a combination of film hardness and flexibility that offers superior mildew resistance, waterproofing, excellent adhesion, ultraviolet, abrasion and chemical resistance. This easy to apply, one component, odorless, fast drying, environmentally friendly coating will provide many years of durable protection.
PERMAUREA™ is an environmentally friendly, low V.O.C. formulation that does not possess the typically strong solvent odors associated with polyureas.

Excellent adhesion on weathered wood, shakes, plywood, clapboard, primed metal, galvanized, aluminum, tin, copper, asbestos, asphalt, urethane, polyester, primed styrofoam, fiberglass, asphalt, vinyl, concrete, tiles, clay tiles, masonry tiles (flat or barrel), primed synthetic or aluminum, adobe, slate, slab, most plastics and various other substrates.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Apply only to a sound, completely dry, well prepared surface. Leaks must be repaired before any coating is applied. If primer or a coating was previously applied, it is essential that the surface is clean, dry and free of all moisture. If no primer or coating was applied, prepare surface by thoroughly pressure washing with a water and chlorine mixture using at least 1500 P.S.I. to remove any previous coatings, dirt, grease, and other foreign materials, especially mold, mildew and algae. Allow to dry completely.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Stir well before using. Do not thin, use product as is. Do not apply when temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or when humidity is very high. Do not apply when coating will be subjected to rain or heavy dew before it has had enough time to dry (approx. 2 to 4 hours). Drying time will vary depending on temperature, humidity and location. Apply using brush, roller or spray. Spread coating uniformly. Spread Rate will vary depending on surface. Apply each coat between 5 to 6 mils wet film thickness. Wait at least 12 hours before applying a second coat. Two coats resulting in a minimum 4 mil total dry film thickness is required.

Airless Sprayers:
Use at least a 1 gallon per minute piston type airless sprayer with a minimum tip size of .017. Remove all line filters and gun filters before spraying.

Clean Up:
Clean up all spills, tools and overspray immediately while the coating is still wet with warm soapy water.
