ULTRA FORCE™

ULTRA FORCE™ is an exterior, acrylic modified hybrid elastomeric, insulating ceramic, wall and trim low luster finish paint. A high technology formula that combines acrylic paint resins and elastomeric coating resins to form a high quality elastomeric paint that possesses extra flexibility not seen in ordinary paints.
ULTRA FORCE™ also contains ceramic fillers that provide insulating and soundproofing values along with a uniform, easy to apply, excellent hiding beautiful latex finish. We can match competitors colors or custom colors. The use of a primer coat of ULTRA PRIME™ and/or CHALK-FORCE™ enhances waterproofing capabilities.
When applied according to specifications, ULTRA FORCE™ offers a 15 YEAR LIMITED MATERIAL WARRANTY against chipping, cracking and peeling. ULTRA FORCE™ is “The Paint With a Little Extra Stretch”.

For use on walls and trim over a wide variety of surfaces such as exterior wood, concrete, brick, masonry, stucco, primed metal, and primed synthetic or aluminum siding. It is excellent for apartments, condominiums, warehouses, motels, offices, residential dwellings and many other exterior applications.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES:
Thoroughly clean surface of dirt, oil, grease, chalk or foreign matter by scraping, sanding, scrubbing and/or rinsing. Scrape off any loose, blistering, cracking or peeling paint using a wire brush and scraper. If peeling is extensive, strip, sand and prime the entire surface area (see below for priming). Sand all glossy surfaces before washing. This paint will resist mildew growth, but will not kill spores, which are nearly invisible and must be removed prior to painting. Scrub soiled, chalky or mildewed surfaces with a solution of one cup detergent, one quart household bleach and one gallon of water. Protect shrubbery and grass. Pressure wash with a water and chlorine mixture, from bottom up including eaves, soffit and fascia. The complete surface to be painted must be cleaned even if it looks clean, because invisible residues may cause peeling. Rinse surface thoroughly. Let dry 24 hours.

UNPAINTED SURFACES:
For best results use ULTRA PRIME™ Primer Sealer, before applying paint (may not seal stains) or SUPER BLOCK™ stain blocking primer sealer.

Wood:
Prime bare wood with one or two coats of SUPER BLOCK™ stain blocking primer sealer depending on condition of the surface. Sand weathered or discolored wood down to solid wood. Clean free of all dust, then prime with two coats of SUPER BLOCK™. Wood knots should be spot primed with shellac. Pressure treated wood must be aged at least 6 months before it can be primed.

Metal:
Clean surface of all grease, oil and foreign matter before priming. Rusted metal and bare metal must be primed with METAL-PRIME RED-OX™, a Red Iron Oxide Primer Sealer.
Masonry: Prime masonry with ULTRA PRIME™ before painting. New masonry must either be sealed with CHALK-FORCE™ or aged 60 days before priming.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Stir well before using. Do not apply when temperatures are below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or when humidity is very high. Do not apply when paint will be subjected to rain or heavy dew.
Apply using brush, roller or spray. When rolling, apply in an “N” pattern first, then cross roll to spread paint, and finish with light roller strokes in downward direction. Always roll or brush from untouched into wet paint areas. Allow at least 4 hours to dry before applying a second coat. Spread uniformly. Two coats are required for 15 Year Limited Material warranty. Warranty Registration Certificate must be received by Nationwide within 90 days of paint application (inquire for details). Wait at least two weeks before washing the dry paint film. Coverage depends upon surface and porosity; 150 to 250 square feet per gallon.

CLEAN UP:
Clean up all spills, tools and overspray immediately while the coating is still wet with warm soapy water.
